モジャモジャダァ〜〜
ちくちくちくちく と 縫っていました
今日はのんびりとした一日だったのでたまっていた縫い物を終わらせる事ができました
実は私はアイルランド国立美大でテキスタイル科の刺繍科出身なのです
実は成績も良くて科の中でぎりぎりだけど首席クラスの成績で卒業したのです
なのに刺繍がヘタクソでまっすぐ綺麗に縫ったり、切ったり、器用なことが出来ません
全く脳と手がきちんとしようって気持ちにならないのです
本当に学生のころから自分でも適当だなぁーといつもあきれながら思っていました
きっと周りも全員そう思っていたことでしょう
糸でなんとかつながってればいいや！って気持ち 今でも強いです
きっと先生は私がへたくそでもちくちく縫ったり布をぐちゃぐちゃいじったりするのが好きだということを知っていたのかなーと
ちなみに今日作っていたのはグラタン皿にひくマット的なものです

it was quiet in cafe wakaya, so decided to stitch few mats for gratin plates. it was nice to chill and still being productive. well, most of you might know i graduated national college of art and design in ireland. specializing in embroidery, textile. but i'm not really good at stitching straight neat lines. and i do not have much fancy stitching skills. although i love touching fabrics and play with them. so what did i learn in college? i guess meeting fantastic friends was the best part!
missing good old days in textile studio with girls so much. stitching alone is not same without girlies laughing and listening music together...
